AA Insurance: RemovalCover

Two types of cover

With AA Insurance RemovalCover you can choose the protection that's right for you.

• RemovalCover Comprehensive for moves within New Zealand when you've hired professional movers.

• RemovalCover Standard and Storage for when you're doing it yourself, or using a professional lockup storage facility.

We’ll replace or repair damaged furnishings, home appliances, carpets, floor coverings, blinds and curtains that are less than 10 years old.

We’ll cover accidental damage to your belongings during your move, including breaks, scratches, dents, chips and tears.

We’ll reduce your excess from $500 to $100 if your belongings are professionally packed.

We’ll cover your possessions for loss or damage if the removal vehicle carrying them is damaged by flood, fire or an accident.

While your possessions are in a professional storage facility, for up to six months, we’ll cover them for damage caused by fire, flood and burglary.

There’s no excess to pay on claims for RemovalCover Standard and Storage.
