Pre-existing incidents and breakdowns which occurred prior to the AA Member joining the AA are not covered. From the time of joining as a standard Member, there's a 24 hour stand down period before you can access your callouts.

AA Membership: Insurance Discounts
Plus, we offer a personal AA Membership Discount on annual insurance premiums for most new or renewing policies. The discount you receive will depend on how long you have been a personal AA Member. Simply provide your personal AA Membership number each time you take out a new policy or renew an eligible policy for the discount to apply at the start of your new policy term or at your next renewal. The discount cannot commence part way through the term of an existing policy or apply retroactively (outside any applicable grace period) to any policy.
