Make a Claim

1. Record what’s happened
Take photos of any damage to vehicles, property or stock that you plan to claim on.
Gather as many details as you can and be ready to provide them.
If you’re the victim of a crime or involved in a serious motor vehicle accident, report the incident to the police as soon as possible. You may need the report details for your claim.
2. Contact our claims team
Call the AA Small Business Insurance claims team on 0800 500 216. We recommend having your policy number on hand, plus as much information as possible about the incident you’re claiming for.
It’s also worth taking a look at the policy wording, to make sure you’re covered for that type of incident. Make a list of any property that’s been affected.
3. Work with us
We’ll lodge your claim over the phone, and assess whether your claim meets the terms of your policy.
We may need extra information or documents; if that happens, we’ll let you know.
At the end of this process, your claim will either be accepted or declined. You’ll receive notice of the outcome in writing, and if your claim has been declined we’ll explain our decision.
