AA Home Response Benefit Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the provision of an AA Home Response subscription (AA Home Response) provided by AA Insurance Limited (AA Insurance) as a benefit with the purchase of an eligible home or landlord insurance policy from AA Insurance. By accepting this offer, you agree to these terms and conditions.
AA Home Response – Summary of Benefit
AA Home Response is a pay per call out subscription service that connects you to AA Home vetted service providers for a limited range of home emergencies. For details of the services available with AA Home Response, see: AA Home Response. AA Home Response is provided as a benefit to eligible AA Insurance Home and Landlord policyholders.

Eligibility
You will be eligible for AA Home Response when:
you purchase or renew a qualifying AA Insurance Home or Landlord insurance policy (a Qualifying Policy); and
the address detailed on your Qualifying Policy is within the AA Home Response service area. To check your home’s eligibility, see AA Home Response.
Your AA Home Response benefit will be active from the start date of your policy and applies for the annual term of your Qualifying Policy. If you cancel your policy your AA Home Response benefit will be cancelled on the policy cancellation date.
Limitations and exclusions
The AA Home Response benefit is non-transferable and specific to the address listed on your Qualifying Policy for the duration of the policy term. If you change address during the term of a Qualifying Policy, a new AA Home Response benefit may be provided under a new Qualifying Policy, subject to your eligibility.
If your Qualifying Policy is cancelled or lapses, your AA Home Response benefit will also be cancelled as at the date the Qualifying Policy is cancelled or has lapsed.
The offer of the AA Home Response benefit is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended without notice. If the offer is withdrawn, your AA Home Response benefit will end upon renewal, cancellation, lapse or expiry of your Qualifying Policy’s term.
The AA Home Response services are only available for use at the address detailed on your Qualifying Policy.
AA Insurance is not the supplier, agent, or representative of AA Home. The provision of the AA Home Response benefit by AA Insurance does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty of AA Home or its services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AA Insurance:
disclaims all liability for any acts, omissions, delays, failures, or errors by AA Home or its contractors in connection with the AA Home Response services;
does not guarantee the availability, quality, timeliness, or fitness for purpose of the AA Home Response services;
is not responsible for any loss, damage, cost, or expense (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the services associated with AA Home Response.
Opting out of AA Home Response
If you do not want the AA Home Response benefit, you can choose to opt out of the offer at any time by calling AA Insurance on 0800 500 231 and advising the service representative you wish to opt-out.
Privacy
By accepting the offer of the AA Home Response benefit, AA Insurance will collect your and any joint Policyholder’s personal information. Your personal information will be held by us in accordance with our privacy policy which can be accessed online here. Any request to access or correct your personal information please contact us.
By accepting the offer of the AA Home Response benefit, you agree to the terms set out in the AA Home privacy statement. Your personal information may be disclosed to, and collected by, AA Home and NZAA for the purposes set in their privacy statements (available via NZAA’s website). Personal information disclosed may include: name of the main applicant, phone number, email, residential address of the home, postal address, policy number (including policy start date and cancellation date). NZAA’s website includes NZAA’s address and NZAA’s Privacy Statement sets out further information about your rights to access and request correction of your personal information held by NZAA.
General
AA Insurance reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at its discretion and to extend, modify, postpone or cancel the offer of the AA Home Response benefit at any time. AA Insurance’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
AA Insurance, its related companies, and agencies associated with the AA Home Response benefit, will not be liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability or injury (‘Loss’) suffered by any person in any way associated with offer of the AA Home Response benefit, including as a result of accepting the offer of the AA Home Response benefit or use of the AA Home Response benefit, except where such Loss cannot be excluded by law.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
The offerer of the AA Home Response benefit is AA Insurance, which has its registered office at Level 5, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Auckland, New Zealand.
