It's all about trust

Trust is important when it comes to relationships – either with a person or a company. And for the team at AA Insurance, trust is essential to being a good insurer.
“We want our customers to know we’re here to help you with all your insurance needs, from changing your address details to making a claim when things go wrong,” says Chris Curtin, Chief Executive at AA Insurance.
Market research agency, Colmar Brunton, also understands the importance of trust and reputation when it comes to Kiwi companies, and last year initiated the Corporate Reputation Index to acknowledge those companies doing a good job.
Says Chris: “We’re proud to say that AA Insurance was recently recognised in the survey for the second year running. This year we’ve moved up two places to rank third, and the only insurer from among 50 of New Zealand’s most successful companies.
“It’s great recognition that we’re getting things right for our customers, as we continue to refine and improve the way we work at AA Insurance.”
Another key aspect of being a good insurer, he says, is adapting to the future needs of Kiwis.
“We live in a fast paced world, not only in technology but the very fabric of our society, with changes to how we live, family dynamics, the world becoming a smaller place through social media, and the expectation that everything must happen faster and faster.
“Everything is changing, and insurance must adapt to look after the changing needs of New Zealand society - renters, landlords, the owners of future vehicles, the new and the different.
“But not only do we need to adapt to rapid change, we must maintain the essence of what people need and demand from their insurer - security, stability and most importantly trustworthiness.”
