The three levels of Motorcycle Insurance Cover
Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance
If your bike or scooter is a total loss we’ll pay you the Agreed Value for it. Otherwise, we’ll cover the cost to get it repaired. You’re also covered for transport, towing or storage costs if the bike gets damaged on the road. We’ll pay the retail price of the nearest equivalent helmet if your helmet is damaged and can even take care of your tools and accessories like storage boxes, exhausts and mag wheels. It’s the most comprehensive bike protection we offer.
Third Party Fire and Theft Motorcycle Insurance
If you accidentally cause damage to someone else’s property as a result of a bike accident we’ll protect you – and any passengers – against any claim up to $20million. Your bike is also covered if it’s a total loss because of fire, or stolen without a trace. If the bike is damaged by fire or theft but can be repaired we’ll organise and pay for that as well.
Third Party Motorcycle Insurance
Essential protection if you accidentally cause damage to someone else’s property as a result of a bike accident. We’ll protect you – and any passengers – against any claim up to $20million. And you’re protected from any accidental damage to your bike by an uninsured third party. We will pay for repairs or replacement up to a limit of $4,000
Motorcycle insurance policy benefits:
Uninsured Driver Protection
With Third Party or Third Party Fire and Theft you’re covered if an uninsured driver crashes into your motorbike or scooter. Provided you can identify the driver who was at fault, we’ll pay for any damage up to $4,000.

Cover for damage to other people’s property
If you accidentally cause damage to someone else’s property as a result of a bike accident we’ll protect you against any claim up to $20million.
If someone believes you damaged their property when using your motorbike, let us know in advance when you make your claim so we can pay the legal fees to defend you.
No Fault, No Excess
Accidents can and do happen, and are often out of your control. But if it turns out you weren’t to blame, and you can identify the driver who was at fault, you won’t have to pay an excess on your claim.
NZ wide cover
We’ll protect your bike on the road, no matter where you are in the country.
It is important to note that limits, excesses, terms, conditions and exclusions apply to the insurance cover referred to. Cover is subject to underwriting acceptance. For full policy and benefit terms and conditions please read the full Motorcycle Insurance policy (PDF).
