Auckland, 1 December 2017 – AA Insurance has won the Ten-Year League Award of the IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces Awards, after being named a finalist for the tenth consecutive year.
“This award is based on AA Insurance demonstrating sustained workplace engagement and excellence consistently for ten years,” says Chris Curtin, Chief Executive, AA Insurance. “Few organisations achieve this, and it’s all down to our wonderful people for sharing their views and suggestions in these surveys over the last 15 years since we first started them in 2003.
“Because of their feedback, we’ve made some significant improvements around the business to make sure this is a company people want to work for, and to make things easier and better for each person.”
AA Insurance is a finalist in the Large Workplace category (400-750 employees), after winning last year for the first time since 2011.
The awards are based on employee ratings in a confidential online survey. This year over 35,000 employees from 173 New Zealand organisations in the private and public sectors participated in the survey, including 27 first-time businesses.
Award winners will be announced at a ceremony in February 2018.
