The purchase and payment of a new Comprehensive Car Insurance policy (“Qualifying Policy”) with a valid promo code applied is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms”).

The promoter of the Online Discount promotion (promotion”) is AA Insurance Limited (AA Insurance), with its registered office at Level 4, AA Insurance House, 46 Sale Street, Auckland.

Promotion

1. This promotion will automatically apply a promo code to quotes purchased between 28 May 2020 and 4 October 2020 (“promotional period”).

2. The promo code will discount your policy by the dollar value contained in the code.

3. The discount is off the first year’s premium only.

4. The promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, except the AA Member discount and AA Insurance Multi Policy Discount if applicable.

Eligibility

5. To be eligible for the discount, you must take out and pay for a new qualifying policy during the promotional period. The annual premium for the new qualifying policy must be either paid in full or have a direct debit activated and a payment made.

6. The promotion is open to online purchases only.

7. Employees, contractors and their immediate families (including partners, siblings, grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren), of the following, are not eligible for the Promotion: AA Insurance Limited, The New Zealand Automobile Association Limited (‘NZAA’) and subsidiaries of NZAA; NZAA District Councillors; any company with which the NZAA has a current joint venture arrangement; shareholders and suppliers of AA Insurance; including agencies, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and affiliated providers.

8. AA Insurance may refuse to provide the discount to a participant who, in AA Insurance’s view, has acted fraudulently or not complied with these terms.

9. You will not be eligible for this Promotion if you:

a. are seeking a quote for, or renewing, a policy that has either expired or been cancelled by us for non-payment (or any other reason that may cancel your policy) within the three months before or during the Promotional Period; or

b. have an existing AA Insurance Motor policy that is cancelled either by you or by us within the three months before or during the Promotional Period and a new policy insuring the same vehicle is purchased within the Promotional Period.

10. Application for cover is subject to underwriting acceptance. Only policies underwritten by AA Insurance are eligible for participation in the promotion.

11. AA Insurance reserves the right to modify these terms at its discretion and to extend, modify, postpone or cancel the promotion at any time.  AA Insurance’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. AA Insurance, its related companies, and agencies associated with this promotion, will not be liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability or injury (‘Loss’) suffered by any person in any way associated with the promotion including as a result of participation in the promotion, except where such Loss cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, limit or modify any statutory rights any person may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

14. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts.

AA Smartfuel Discount Promotion - Terms and Conditions

Participation in this promotion by purchasing and paying for a new AA Insurance Comprehensive Car Insurance policy (“Qualifying Policy”) online using the promo code: SFO50C3M and receiving an AA Smartfuel discount is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions ("Terms”).

Promoter

The promoter of the AA Smartfuel promotion (“Promotion”) is AA Insurance Limited (AA Insurance), with its registered office at Level 17, AA Centre, 99 Albert Street, Auckland.

Promotion

1. This Promotion will automatically apply a promo code to an online quote for a Qualifying Policy purchased between 2 September 2020 and 4 October 2020 inclusive (“Promotional Period”).

2. The Promotion is the offer of a set value AA Smartfuel discount each month for the first 3 months of your Qualifying Policy (“Promotion”), with the online purchase and payment of a new Qualifying Policy within the Promotional Period, using the promo code: SFO50C3M.

3. The value of the AA Smartfuel discount that applies to a Qualifying Policy under the Promotion is as follows:

a. Comprehensive Car Insurance: 50c per litre (limit of one fill up to max 50 litres per month, for 3 months).

4. The AA Smartfuel discount is limited to one fill per month up to 50 litres of fuel and is only available at participating AA Smartfuel stations.

5. A total of $75 in fuel savings is based on the maximum redemption of 50 cents per litre on 50 litres of fuel, once per month for 3 months.

6. Limit of up to 4 AA Smartfuel discounts per customer, resulting in a cumulative maximum of $2.00 per litre per month, can be redeemed during this Promotion under each purchased Qualifying Policy, for the first 3 months of your Qualifying Policy.

7. You must have an activated AA Smartfuel card to receive the AA Smartfuel discount. Terms and conditions apply to the use of the AA Smartfuel card, which can be accessed online here.

8. The first AA Smartfuel discount will be activated and loaded onto your AA Smartfuel account by the tenth day of the month following the inception of your Qualifying Policy. Subsequent AA Smartfuel discounts will be loaded by the tenth day of each month thereafter. Once activated and loaded, the AA Smartfuel discount will be available each month for the first 3 months of your Qualifying Policy, given your policy is active and paid for in accordance with the terms and conditions of your Qualifying Policy.

9. If you cancel your Qualifying Policy within the first 3 months of purchase, your AA Smartfuel discount will cease.

10. An activated AA Smartfuel number must be provided to AA Insurance to receive the discount. If after 4 months following the end of the Promotional Period, an activated AA Smartfuel number has not been provided, then the customer will no longer be eligible for the SFO50C3M Promotion.

11. If a discount to an eligible customer is not applied in a given month, that discount will be backdated and applied in bulk.

12. The Promotion code SFO50C3M cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer except for the AA Member discount and AA Insurance Multi Policy Discount, if applicable.
