Here’s what you need:

  • Make, model, year and CC rating of your vehicle i.e. Honda Civic 1.3l, 3 door hatchback manual, 2003
  • Your driving history, and that of any other drivers
  • The value of any modifications or accessories (things like stereos, mag wheels and spoilers added to your car). This is important – if we don’t know we’ll only cover you for standard parts.

  • The Sum Insured for your home – you can use an online calculator such as the Cordell Online Calculator* to give an estimate of the cost to rebuild your home, or you can obtain a valuation from a builder, architect, quantity surveyor or other valuation expert.
  • The year your home was built and the size in square metres.
  • Your home claim history, and that of your partner or anyone living with you.


Contents Insurance

  • The cost to replace all of your contents as new – if you are unsure, you can use our Contents Calculator* guide.
  • A list of specified items. This should include the description and value of any collections or high value items (things like cameras, computers, artwork and jewellery).
  • Your contents claim history, and that of your partner or anyone living with you.
