Pay your policy

It’s important we have your latest details. That way we can make sure you always have the right cover. So if you’ve moved house, switched banks, or something else has changed just notify us online.

View policy documents

All you need to do is call 0800 500 213 with your policy details and the date you want it cancelled. One of our team will take you through it and let you know if there’s anything left to pay. All up it should only take a few minutes to do.

You can report your claim online and we'll get in touch within two working days, or at a time that suits you.

How do I make a claim?

Making a claim is simple, you can report your claim online or call us on 0800 500 216 if your situation requires urgent help or assistance. For more information on your specific type of claim, see car claims, home claimscontents claims and small business claims.

Do you offer any package discounts?

Yes, if you take out more than one eligible insurance policy with us, you can qualify for a Multi Policy Discount. Depending on when you take out the policies, your discount will be applied from the start date of a new policy or at the renewal of an existing policy.

Where can I find my policy number?

You can find your policy number in the top right hand corner of your most recent policy documents. Or contact us and we can help.

What are my payment options

There are a number of ways you can pay your premium:

Online

To pay your renewal premium online, use your credit card or debit card to pay your policy.

Internet Banking

You can pay your premium from your bank account. Select AA Insurance - Premium as the Bill Payee. Enter your Customer PRN in the Particulars field. The PRN is your Payment Reference Number, please refer to your most recent policy schedule.

Phone

Call us on 0800 500 213 to pay your premium via credit or debit card or set up direct debit payments. You can pay fortnightly or monthly from your bank account or credit card. Give us a call and we can arrange it all over the phone.

AA Centres

Search for an AA Centre where you can pay your premium.

Payment Frequency

Choosing to pay by monthly or fortnightly instalment affects your premium. You'll pay less if you choose to pay annually. See our terms for more information.

My AA Insurance

How do I find out who the main policy contact is?

If you’re the only person insured on your policy, you'll automatically be the main policy contact.

If there's more than one person insured on your policy, you can contact us to check who your main policy contact is.

Policy documentation sent from 23 May 2017 will identify the main policy contact in the ‘who’s insured’ section of your policy schedule.

How do I get my policy information by email?

Select the policy you want to update from your policy list, then select 'Update your policy' from the top left menu. From here, go to the 'Contact preference' and select email. Please use a valid mobile number and email address.

If you have more than one policy, you'll need to update each policy individually.

How do I find out if I'm already registered?

To find out if you’re already registered you can use the Forgot your username/password? link found on the Login page of My AA Insurance. This will tell you if your email address is linked to your details.

I've registered for My AA Insurance but I'm unable to log in.

Firstly, please check that your email address has been properly registered by selecting the ‘Forgot your username/password?’ link on the My AA Insurance log in page

You’ll be asked to verify a few details, then we can let you know what email address you used to register. You can then reset your password when prompted if you need to.
