The Insurance Claims Register (ICR) is an independently run database which keeps a record of all claims received by participating insurers. It allows insurance companies, like AA Insurance, to check the accuracy of information provided when lodging claims if we suspect fraudulent activity. The purpose of this database is to help insurance companies detect and prevent insurance fraud.
