Sixteen years running: AA Insurance named New Zealand’s most trusted
AA Insurance has been named Most Trusted for General Insurance in the 2026 Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brands survey, marking the sixteenth year in a row New Zealanders have given the company the top spot.
The award is based on independent customer research, not judges or industry panels. Almost 1,800 New Zealanders aged 18 and over took part in this year’s survey, sharing which brands they trust most and why.
Shaun Rees, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at AA Insurance, says the recognition reflects the work happening across the business every day.
“Sixteen years is a long time to keep earning trust and that’s something we don’t take lightly. This result comes back to how our people show up for customers, especially when things go wrong and they need us most.”
AA Insurance placed first in the general insurance category and was recognised as a power brand, reflecting strong trust and brand awareness among respondents.
