Paula Williams appointed Chief People Officer

AA Insurance is pleased to announce the appointment of Paula Williams to the new role of Chief People Officer, effective Monday 22 April.

Paula joins AA Insurance directly from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand where she has been providing consultancy support during a period of change.

Her wealth of multi-industry experience includes senior and executive leadership roles at IAG, Air New Zealand and MediaWorks.

Paula Williams is an experienced executive leader with a career spanning over 20 years in people, culture and communications roles. She has diverse expertise from a range of sectors including banking, insurance, aviation, legal, media, technology, government and not for profit.

Paula’s executive coaching background has seen her lead enterprise change & transformation programmes within high growth, cost out, stable and merger & acquisition environments.

She is highly experienced in senior stakeholder management while supporting teams to deliver innovative solutions that support business goals. She is passionate about customers, the future of work, lifting performance while building strong leaders and a culture where everyone can thrive in a digital age.

In addition to her impressive corporate career, Paula is very active in the charity sector, providing pro bono work with Sweet Louise and 10x10 philanthropy, and offering coaching services to a range of charities to help grow their future leaders.
